Web Designer Marketing Intern

We also aim to be the provider of implantable neural interfaces to restore function to people with neurological disorders. Blackrock already delivers some of the most critical components of leading BCI set-ups. We spend every day building technology that will benefit patients suffering from paralysis disorders, neurological diseases (ALS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s), and neural dysfunctions (epilepsy, brain trauma).
We are looking for a versatile Web Designer who can assist Blackrock in defining, creating and implementing its marketing message with a focus on web-based marketing, coordinate the launch of a new website, improving product appeal, graphic communications and other marketing tactics as directed by Marketing Management.
This is a paid position which will require at least 20 hours per week at $15/hour and is based in Salt Lake City.
—Majoring in graphic design, Web Development, Product Design or similar degree.
—Needs own computer and graphic design software
—Experience with WordPress and plugins a must
—Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InDesign)
—Experience with Visual Composer or block editor a plus
—User Interface / User Experience layout and design a plus
—Ability to synchronize feedback from multiple departments and implement feedback into designs accordingly
—Strong organizational and time-management skills
—Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure
—Create and design layout for website using WordPress, Plugins and coding skills
—Design and create graphics for internal and external marketing campaigns
—Ensure style and visual consistency across all platforms
—Provide creative ideas when collaborating with others
—Adhere to graphics standards and maintain consistent branding
—Performs other assignments as required by the Management
