What You Will Love Doing

—Developing new products from concept through released product stages, adhering to the Blackrock Quality System
—Designing and testing mixed-signal PCBs with wireless communication
—Coordinating efforts between the company and consultants or vendors
—Troubleshooting and problem solving
What You Will Bring

—Education Level:
—Requires BS or MS in Electrical, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
—Professional Certifications:
—None
—Experience Required:
—5 years of experience with product design and development
—Experience with microcontroller design using C
—Experience with FPGA design using Verilog
—Analog/digital electronic design
—Experience with Bluetooth design
—Experience with Altium PCB CAD/CAE software.
—Familiar with FDA Quality System implementation, GMP
—Skills and Abilities Required:
—Must be familiar with multiple communication protocols such as SPI/I2C/PCI-e
—Must be able to put project plans together, including deadlines, manpower and budget
—Must be proficient with electronic testing equipment
—Must be thorough and detail oriented
—Must have excellent reading, writing and communication skills in the English language
—Must be able to work independently with little supervision
—Must have excellent problem-solving skills
—Must be able to handle stressful situations
—Must have excellent interpersonal skills
—Desired Qualifications:
—Experience designing medical devices for IEC 60601-1 Electrical Safety Standards
—Experience with IEC 62304 compliant software development
—Experience developing mobile applications for iOS or Android
