What You Will Love Doing
—Manufacture acute and chronic micro-electrode array implant assemblies
—Work with a microscope and assemble small parts in a clean room environment
What You Will Bring
—Requires BS or MS in Electrical, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent
—Minimum 3 years in design and development
—Experience with microcontroller design using C
—Experience with FPGA design using Verilog
—Analog/digital electronic design
—Experience designing medical devices for IEC 60601-1 Electrical Safety Standards
—Skills and Abilities Required:
—Must be familiar with multiple communication protocols including SPI/I2C/PCI-e
—Must be able to put project plans together, including deadlines, manpower and budget.
—Must be proficient with electronic testing equipment.
—Must be thorough and detail oriented.
—Must have excellent reading, writing and communication skills in the English language.
—Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
—Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
—Must be able to handle stressful situations.
—Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
—Experience with Bluetooth design
—Experience with inductive power
—Proficient with IC CAD/CAE software.
—Proficient with Altium PCB CAD/CAE software.
—Familiar with FDA Quality System implementation, GMP
—Develop new products from concept through released product stages
—Design and test mixed-signal PCBs.
—Develop test protocols and write test reports.
—Coordinate efforts between the company and consultants or vendors.
—Perform other assignments as required by the Management.
