As one of the oldest Universities in the country, it is not surprising that the undergraduate engineering program at Brown University is the oldest in the Ivy League and the third oldest civilian engineering program in the country. Prof. John Donoghue and Prof. Arto Nurmikko continue the institutions tradition of driving innovation through a cross-curricular approach.

Blackrock Microsystems is proud to work with both in the context of a BRP and a TATRC subcontract. Specifically, we are working with them to develop next generation wireless neural interfaces, leveraging our existing array and Cerebus Data Acquisition System.
